MMS 6120 | EPRO | Dual-Channel Bearing Vibration Monitor MMS6120
Description
MMS 6120 (EPRO) is a dual-channel bearing vibration monitor designed for industrial automation, specifically for monitoring and protecting turbine machinery including steam turbines, gas turbines, compressors, fans, gearboxes, blowers, and centrifuges. This module supports simultaneous monitoring of two bearing vibration channels, measuring multiple parameters such as vibration velocity rms, displacement peak-to-peak, frequency, amplitude, acceleration, and more. It is compatible with multiple sensor types, including EPRO PR926X series electrodynamic velocity sensors, piezoelectric sensors, and eddy current sensors, with a differential sensor input that accepts -5V to +15V DC, and provides 0 to 8mA lift coil current per sensor to compensate for mechanical settlement. Key features include an extended self-test function with password protection to ensure system reliability, an integrated microprocessor that stores the most recent start/stop measurement data, and support for spectrum analysis via local or remote communication. Each channel offers configurable alarm and danger thresholds with hysteresis settings, plus a limit multiplier function to prevent false alarms during critical speed transitions. Technical specifications include 24V DC power supply with less than 2W power consumption, configurable 0-20mA or 4-20mA current outputs, 0-10V voltage outputs, 0-20Vpp dynamic signal outputs for analysis, and RS232/485 communication ports. Variants include models with dimensions from 20mm x 20mm to 130mm x 45mm x 25mm, weights from 2g to 0.45kg, protection ratings up to IP67, and operating temperatures ranging from -40 degrees Celsius to 85 degrees Celsius.
