The N-TRON 508FX2-A-ST Rugged Industrial Ethernet Switch is a heavy-duty networking device engineered for harsh industrial environments with wide temperature ranges, high shock, high vibration, and strong electromagnetic interference. It utilizes store-and-forward technology and supports IEEE802.3 10/100Base-TX RJ-45 copper ports and 100BaseFX fiber ports, enabling flexible wired and fiber optic network connections. The switch features a wide-voltage redundant DC power input (18 to 36 VDC) for reliable power supply in unstable industrial power environments, and supports multiple mounting options including DIN rail and rack mounting for easy integration into industrial control setups. It holds UL certification and Class I, Div.2 explosion-proof rating, ensuring safe operation in hazardous locations. For fiber transmission, it offers a multi-mode fiber range of up to 2 km, while single-mode fiber (FXE model) supports transmission distances from 15 km to 80 km.
