The PR9268/201-000 is an electrodynamic velocity sensor designed for absolute mechanical vibration measurement. Operating on an electrodynamic principle, it generates a voltage signal proportional to vibration speed, with measurable frequency ranges of 10 to 1000 Hz and 4 to 1000 Hz, and a peak-to-peak amplitude capacity of up to 3 mm. It features a rugged, industrial-grade construction with IP 55 or IP 65 waterproof rating, enabling installation in hazardous environments, and offers high sensitivity with strong anti-interference performance via its high-output, low-impedance measurement coil.

Key dynamic specifications for related base models include a sensitivity of 17.5 millivolts per mm per second, a natural frequency of 4.5 Hz ± 0.75 Hz at 20 degrees Celsius, transverse sensitivity < 0.1 at 80 Hz, amplitude linearity < 2%, maximum continuous acceleration of 10g, maximum intermittent acceleration of 20g, maximum transverse acceleration of 2g, damping coefficient of approximately 0.6% at 20 degrees Celsius, resistance of 1723Ω ± 2%, inductance ≤ 90 mH, and active capacitance < 1.2 nF.
