Description

REM610C11HCNR-02 is a multifunctional ABB Motor Protection Relay from the Relion® 610 series, designed for protection, measurement, and monitoring of medium and large standard asynchronous motors, as well as medium-voltage motor equipment with capacities ranging from 500kW to 2MW. It is suitable for motor systems controlled by circuit breakers or contactors, and can also be used to protect power cable feeders and power transformers requiring thermal overload protection. Key application scenarios include pumps, blowers, grinders, and crushers, providing continuous protection during motor start-up, operation, idling, and post-stop cooling phases.

Integrated protection features include thermal overload protection, cumulative motor start supervision, running stall protection, earth fault protection, and phase loss protection, along with single, two, or three-phase overcurrent protection and non-directional earth fault protection to prevent motor damage and extend service life. The relay supports flexible configuration to match specific motor characteristics and application requirements, and offers seamless integration into automation systems via multiple standard communication protocols: IEC 61850, IEC 60870-5-103, Modbus®, Profibus, SPA, and LON. An included value-added information software package provides access to technical data, user documents, and wiring diagrams via the operator interface or free InformIT Aspect ObjectViewer software.
