Description

The TRICONEX 3000510-510 Terminal Panel Module is a component designed for integration with the TRICON triple modular redundant (TMR) control system, a fault-tolerant and redundant control platform. As part of the TRICONEX product line, this terminal panel module supports the system’s fully triple-redundant architecture, which extends from input modules, main processors (MP), to output modules. Each I/O signal is managed by three independent legs, which autonomously read input signals and transmit status data to corresponding main processors. The three main processors communicate and synchronize via the TriBus during each scan cycle, with the TriBus distributing digital input (DI) voting results and analog input (AI) calculation results to all MPs for independent program execution, and output data is voted near field devices at the output module end. Built for high-reliability applications, the module operates within the TRICON safety platform, which meets multiple standard certifications and is ideal for tasks requiring SIL 1, 2, or 3 safety levels. It features hot-swap capability, powerful self-diagnostic functions, and no single point of failure, allowing the system to identify and compensate for control component faults without interrupting process control.
