Woodward 8200-1300 Integrated Graphical Front Panel HMI
Description
The Woodward 8200-1300 Integrated Graphical Front Panel HMI is a digital governor in the 505 turbine control series, designed to deliver precise digital control for steam turbines, with compatibility for gas turbine applications as well. It operates on a standard LVDC (18-32 VDC) power supply, and is rated for use in non-hazardous locations, as well as Class I, Division 2, Groups A/B/C/D areas. For installation, it requires stranded copper field wiring rated for a minimum temperature of 75 degrees Celsius.
This unit can control both single and double split-actuator steam turbines, and offers flexible deployment: it can be configured as part of a plant’s distributed control system (DCS) or used as a standalone unit. It features five PID controllers, including speed/load, cascade, AUX1, and AUX2 controllers, to support multi-functional turbine regulation. Its integrated graphical front panel HMI includes an emergency stop button, start/stop buttons, ESC and home buttons, a numeric keypad, up/down toggle buttons, and an enter button, plus four left-side LEDs to display CPU status, I/O lock, summary alarm, and summary trip. It supports field programming and flexible configuration via menu-driven software, with communication capabilities for integration with DCS/PLC systems for remote monitoring and data collection.
