Description

The YOKOGAWA ADM52C is a digital output (DO) module designed for PLC systems, categorized as a contact output module. It operates on a 24V bus voltage and DC24V power supply, with a monitoring current of ≤1mA for the bus and ≤6mA for the power supply, and an operating current of ≤4mA for the bus and ≤35mA for the power supply. The module uses non-polar two-wire connections for both the controller signal bus and DC24V power supply, simplifying wiring installation. It offers a total output capacity of DC24V/1A, shared across two output channels, with output control modes including pulse and level via normally open/normally closed passive relay contacts; when activated by pulse, the relay remains engaged for 10 seconds. Factory settings default to two-channel normally open line detection mode, with specific wiring requirements: a 4.7k ohm terminal resistor must be connected in parallel for normally open line detection, or in series for normally closed line detection. For active output configurations, a 4.7k ohm terminal resistor must be connected in parallel with the output, along with a series IN4007 diode. Rated for an operating environment of -10 degrees Celsius to 55 degrees Celsius, relative humidity ≤95% without condensation, the module has an IP30 protection rating and measures 110mm x 86mm x 43mm with its base casing.
