Description

The YOKOGAWA NFAI835-S50 Analog Input/Output Module is an integrated circuit-based module designed for industrial signal processing and control applications. It supports either 4 or 8 analog input channels, with configurable input ranges including 0 to 5V, 0 to 10V, 0 to 20mA, and 4 to 20mA. Each channel accepts both voltage and current inputs, with built-in protection features: current input channels have a 250 ohm input resistance, include PTC resistor-based current limiting to handle transmitter power supply short circuits, while voltage input channels can withstand over 30V and have a 290k ohm input resistance.

Equipped with shared RS-485 and RS-232 communication interfaces on a single serial port, the module enables reliable data transmission with control systems. It features jumper-configurable input ranges, a dedicated calibration interface for high signal accuracy when paired with calibration programs and signal sources, and isolated channels to prevent cross-interference. Powered by a 9V to 100V DC supply with 0.5W to 1.5W power consumption, it operates in temperatures from -20 degrees Celsius to 85 degrees Celsius with high conversion efficiency and low heat output.
